These are very fast operating solenoid actuated electromechanical AC fail safe disc brakes. The fail safe operation is achieved by the braking torque generated by the spring pressure during power switch off. The pressure is neutralized by the solenoid force when the solenoid is energized and the brake is released. Manual release is also available to neutralize the braking effect. These brakes are available in different versions with the torque range from 2 Nm to 44 Nm. Friction disc is made of non asbestos type molded material with low coefficient of friction to withstand high surface temperature. Our products are suitable for metric motor frame 90 l and above with more number of operations. These are available in Hoist version 3000.
